Wings of Fancy Butterfly Exhibit: Wednesday, June 19

The Inter-Faith Fellowship invites all to visit the butterfly exhibit and beautiful Brookside Gardens.  The group will gather at The Chapel on Wednesday, June 19 at 9:30 am to carpool to the park.  Admission to the butterfly exhibit is $8.00 per person, payable at the park.  After seeing the butterflies, we will plan to walk and view the beautiful gardens and ponds.  An optional lunch will follow this event.

As visitors enter the South Conservatory, they are surrounded by hundreds of brilliant live butterflies from North America, Costa Rica, Africa and Asia soaring among colorful flowers and going about their business of drinking nectar and looking for others of their kind. Visitors learn about their amazing metamorphosis, the important role butterflies play in healthy ecosystems, and how to ensure these beautiful insects thrive in our own gardens.

Submit your RSVP no later than June 14. No advance payment is necessary, but please change your RSVP if your plans change.  Bring money for admission and lunch.  Bottled water is recommended as the greenhouse is warm and humid. This outing requires extensive walking and standing. We will need carpool drivers to make this trip possible.
