January Film Festival

This year, our January Film Festival will focus on films which reflect on the various ways we triumph over our prejudices against others. Join us in the Fellowship Hall at 1:00 pm on the scheduled Mondays. No tickets or reservations are needed.

Monday, January 14 Running for Grace Not rated, length 110 minutes

Set in 1920’s Hawaii, the movie tells the story of an orphaned biracial boy despised by the people of his village. He is brought together with the daughter of a wealthy plantation owner and a forbidden attraction blossoms.

Monday, January 28 The Greatest Showman PG-13, length 105 minutes

This is a biographical musical portraying P. T. Barnum who starts out as a penniless orphan and becomes the world-renowned creator of the circus.
