Community Ministries
The Leisure World Committee for the Homeless and Working Poor…..
serving God faithfully by pouring out our gifts in service to those in our community
The focus of this committee is to provide opportunities for Leisure World residents to extend their outreach, to help solve some of the problems experienced by the homeless and working poor in Montgomery County and to promote working relationships among the faith groups within our community.
Although meetings are held at the Inter-Faith Chapel, this committee is composed of representatives from the Inter-Faith Chapel, Jewish Residents of Leisure World, Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, the Unitarian Universalists of Leisure World, and community at-large members. Dr. Ramonia Lee is the staff liaison to this committee.
